We develop customized Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) coatings and coating equipment for protecting or functionalizing diverse substrates (powder, fibres, porous…). These coatings are characterized by their high adhesion and conformality. A sub-nanometer scale control of the thickness is obtained and the coatings are functional already with 5 nm thick. Protective (anti-corrosion, anti-scratch, anti-UV..) and functional (hydro/oleophobic, photocatalytic, antibacterial…) coatings can be deposited.  We create customized ALD coating equipment (research scale, semi-industrial and industrial equipment, fluidized bed reactors…) with unique and adaptable features (modulable volume chambers, plasma heads…). ALD coatings are highly versatile and can be applied over a wide range of materials.
