FAIRmat
FAIRmat builds an infrastructure for Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) data in condensed-matter physics and the chemical physics of solids. It establishes a research data management service for collecting, organizing, sharing, analyzing, and publishing FAIR materials-science data across synthesis, experimental characterization, theory and computation, and various applications.
FAIRmat develops the open-source platform NOMAD, a free web service that allows scientists to share their data or use the extensive data provided by others. FAIRmat is funded as a consortium of the German Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI).
