FIZ Karlsruhe

FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure
Reliable crystal structure data of high quality play an
important part in optimizing the development of new
materials which foster innovation in various areas.
FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information
Infrastructure provides the Inorganic Crystal
Structure Database (ICSD) - the world's biggest
database of fully evaluated and published crystal
structure data. Science and industry are offered high
quality records that provide a basis for studies in
materials science. ICSD contains more than 190,000
crystal structures of inorganic substances published
since 1913. Metals are included in ICSD since 2008.
