SPRING 25: Abstract submission is now open

Join us as at the 2025 Spring Meeting & Exhibit which will be held from May 26 to 30 at the Convention & Exhibition Centre in Strasbourg - a leading forum for scientists and engineers to exchange information and ideas at the forefront of Materials research.

We invite you to share your research in one or more of 23 symposia within 5 topical clusters:

  • Materials for photonics and electronics
  • Nanocomposites and hybrid materials
  • Materials for sustainable energy
  • Advanced characterization and computational design
  • Ecological and biomaterials

The deadline to submit an abstract is set at January 22, 2025. In fairness to all potential authors, late abstracts will not be accepted.

Papers will be selected by the scientific committee of each symposium. Authors will be notified of acceptance and mode of presentation by March 7 at the latest.

Abstract length: Web submissions are limited to 3.000 characters (including spaces, only plain text, no figures, no formulae...).

Multiple submissions are allowed. There is no fee for submission of an abstract.

Submitting abstracts via the E-MRS website is easy and convenient.

  1. Log in to your submitter account available HERE or create a new one;
  2. Follow the easy step-by-step instructions on the template, making sure that complete mailing address information is included for the presenting and contact authors.

Because major revisions may affect a symposium organizer’s decision to accept your abstract, please review it carefully before submission.

The online submission center enables to save an abstract as a draft and submit it later on. Authors are able to revise their abstracts up to and including the submission deadline of January 22. Contributions saved as draft only will not be considered in the selection process.

Do not miss the opportunity to share your work at the largest materials research conference in Europe!
